An AI that improvises in real-time as a creative partner.


Inspired by the high wire act of improvisation between jazz musicians, we created an AI that could listen, perform, and vocalize with world renowned beat boxer Reeps One, to prove value of collaboration between humans and machines. It premiered at SXSW 2018 as a talk and live performance, featuring live duets and a beatbox battle that tested the limits of the human voice and CPUs.

IBM WATSON & BBDO | COLOR OF EMOTION INSTALLATION

AI translation of  emotion in  music, world events & global commentary with IBM Watson.


We created a massive real time data art installation built from the computational analysis of pop music, social media and news media for emotional values by IBM’s Watson. These values were translated into immersive visualizations that could be navigated by time, emotion and genre. 

We sought to create art, but also find insight. We believe that the overall emotional tenor of the world, as determined by analyzing media and social posts, has a causal relationship to what is popular in mainstream music in a similar time period.

ACCOR HOTELS & COSSETTE | SEEKER

A biometric escape from rational decision making.


Seeker sidesteps the process of rational decision making and cuts straight to the heart, to see if our body can tell us the truth of what we desire. The installation and online experience for Accor Hotels  fed stimuli and simultaneously measured behavioral response to aesthetics, locations, social desire, activity levels, and personality.

The result was an immersive installation and companion website that offered up  ‘best fit’ location based on user responses to stimulus throughout the experience.

Bonkers full body games in a digital ballpit.


We worked with Nike to create an immersive playground within the Nike House of Innovation located at the Nike NYC Flagship store, that gives visitors a first-hand experience of their newest product: Nike Joyride flyknit running shoes.
