EXPERIMENT | CONCEPT & DIRECTION
Historical records of robots collaborating with humans.
Mimetics employs four ink equipped robots, each with their own unique autonomous drawing behavior, that react to gestural interactions from visitors to create a translation of human mark making through robotics, culminating in a crowd-sourced collaborative mural and historical record of interaction.
This artwork is an exploration of conditions that may be disrupted by human behavior and random computation to create unexpected results.
Created for Move.Me, an event exploring creativity through the collision of humans and technology.
