Creative Provocateur.

Rama Allen is an Executive Creative Director, interactive artist, strategist, and futurist. With a 20-year history in the worlds of film and interactive design, he guides, develops, and directs inventive combinations of technology and art to invent the future of products and experiences.
Rama has created works for IBM, Apple, Facebook, HBO, and Playstation and is a two-time Emmy nominee for his “True Blood” and “Vikings” title sequences.  He has lots of shiny awards and was listed in Adweek’s Creative 100 as one of the “10 Visual Artists Who Are Changing the Way We See Advertising, and the World.” 

Along his creative path, Rama has been a sound designer, jazz musician, photographer, filmmaker, writer, interactive developer, designer and mischief maker. He is a mentor at New Inc., the New Museum’s art, technology, and design incubator, and consults on innovation design and methodologies for brands, governments, conferences, and universities, including Harvard, Yale, NYU, Duke, MIT, SXSW, Cannes Lions The Next Web, and OFFF.

Rama is the global creative lead and co-founder of Experience Design at The Mill. He consults and leads workshops for design challenges that traverse product innovation, smart spaces, CX, and XR applications.

Rama connects art, technology, and user experience to originate strategically and creatively meaningful products and experiences. Leading multidisciplinary groups of writers, designers, strategists, architects, coders, fabricators, engineers, and CG artists, he then proves out these ideas, whether prototypes or full implementations.
